Most productivity tools are designed for a specific kind of brain: one that thrives on streaks, badges, notifications, and constant nudges. Glassy is not. It was built by people with lived experience of ADHD, autism, and sensory sensitivity — for people who need a calmer, more forgiving workspace.
No streaks, no punishment
Glassy does not track streaks. There are no red badges for missing a day, no guilt-inducing notifications telling you that you have not been productive enough. Come back when you are ready. Search what you have. Start from the next useful step. The tool is there when you need it and silent when you do not.
Reduced motion, respected
If your operating system asks for reduced motion, Glassy listens. No exceptions. No subtle animations that "technically" do not count. Every transition, every hover effect, every loading state checks the prefers-reduced-motion media query and respects it.
Focus mode
One key to enter focus mode. Every UI element disappears except the document you are working on. One key to leave. No floating panels, no sidebars, no distraction. Just you and the text.
Plain language
Buttons say what they do. Errors say what to try. No idioms, no winks, no "Oops! Something went wrong." If a capture fails, Glassy tells you why and what to do about it. If a sync conflict happens, Glassy explains the options in plain English.
Inbox, not a feed
The capture inbox is a single, fast surface. Triage when you have the capacity for it. Not before. There is no algorithm deciding what to show you, no infinite scroll, no engagement metrics. Just a list of things you saved, waiting to be sorted.
