Licensing and open source
The GlassyDash core application is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1). It is available for personal, non-commercial, self-hosted use. It will transition to AGPL-3.0 on 2027-07-13 or upon published Kickstarter goal satisfaction, whichever comes first. The Glassy Companion browser extension is licensed under AGPL-3.0. Commercial use requires a separate license — contact [email protected].
Self-hosting
Clear and Pro members may run Glassy on their own hardware via the official Docker image. Self-hosted instances are for personal, non-commercial use. Redistribution, resale, or offering Glassy as a hosted service without a commercial license is prohibited.
Your content
You own everything you put into Glassy. We do not claim license to your notes, files, or work.
Our service
Glassy is provided as-is. We aim for 99.9% uptime but make no warranty. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance.
Acceptable use
Don't use Glassy to harm others, distribute malware, or violate the law. We will suspend accounts that do.
Payment and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial months.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts for material breach with notice when possible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Glassy Inc.'s principal place of business.
